He is a native of California, having grown up in southern California. He attended dental school at Loma Linda University, and graduated in 2001. He then went onto the University of Alabama, Birmingham for his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Knoll completed medical school at the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine in 2004, and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007. After finishing his residency, he practiced in both Florida and Alabama before returning to California several years ago. In addition to practicing in our office, he is the staff oral surgeon at the Contra Costa Region Medical Center in Martinez, and is an associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of the Pacific, Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Knoll is married to Dr. Fiorella Potesta-Knoll and has three young daughters, Daniella, Natalie, and Nicole.
